About the event
Black Antiques Road Show is what this event will be...We want to be purveyors of Black Americana—an 'archival designator' in the antiques industry. We want to ourselves as thaose that see the 'material culture pertaining to the histories, tradition, or folklore of the United States, centering the narratives of black people throughout the diaspora'."
We want to specialize in curatorial-based projects that center the relationship between Black people, material culture, memory and the contemporary. We are looking forward to being a place that assist with interior styling, prop rental/set design, and exhibition loans In other words, Sankofa.
